Since launching in 2017, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, healthy dog treats that pet owners can feel good about giving to their furry family members, or even for themselves. A key ingredient that we use in our treats is peanut butter. Dogs go nuts over it with good reason! We only use a one-ingredient peanut butter made right here in Rhode Island. Not only does it make for a delicious and irresistible flavor, but it also offers numerous health benefits for our dogs.
One-ingredient peanut butter is made from just one thing: peanuts. It doesn't contain any additives, sugars, or preservatives, making it a healthy and natural choice for dog treats. You may have heard of the scary toxic sugar substitute called xylitol, that many companies use in their foods, including lots of peanut butters. Hidden dangers like this scare us too, which is why we carefully choose each of our ingredients when creating recipes. It’s also why we only use four- simple is best!
Peanut butter is also an excellent source of protein, healthy fats, and vitamins B and E, which can help promote healthy skin, a shiny coat, and overall wellbeing in dogs.
